Nafplion, aroma of nostalgia

Nafplion was the first capital of Greece after the liberation of the country from the Turkish and as such has a plethora of historical monuments, fascinating narrow roads with Venetian style overhanging balconies and impressive castles of Palamidi, Acronafplia and the Bourtzi Castle in the middle of the harbour. Bearing in mind its location, Pension Filyra is the perfect place from which to visit and explore the wonderful sites of the Argolida and the Peloponnese whilst having a superb base to return to.
